was born in New Delhi in 1957. At various stages of his life, he has worked as a journalist, a copywriter, and an educationist. He does most of his writing in a cottage in the hills near Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. The Long Way, Home is his first novel. He is currently at work on his second.
