I met Morjina Bibi in Delhi in the early part of the spring of 2018. It had been a year of motherhood and already time for me to return to the workforce. My partner and mother who were at home with my son, could not take care of him by themselves and it was decided we needed a nanny. My mother said if I had wanted her to take care of my child, I should have had a child in my 20s when she was in her 50s. That was a valid reason. My partner did not have any reason except that he was a man.
